The Young Automotive Group is growing and we need to hire Rockstar Upfitters for our brand new Truck and Trailer dealership in Kaysville. Young Truck and Trailer is a leading provider of top-quality trucks and trailers, serving the needs of our customers. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to the success of our group. We are currently seeking a skilled Upfitter to join our team. You will be responsible for customizing trucks and trailers according to customer specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Customize truck and trailers with various accessories and modifications as per customer requests
  • Install and integrate equipment such as Racks – Shelving – Toolboxes – Lighting – Hitches – and other aftermarket accessories
  • Ensure all installations adhere to safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to understand customer requirements and provide solutions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled and stored
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in truck and trailer upfitting
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in truck and trailer upfitting preferred but not required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring is a plus
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
