We are seeking a motivated Deal Booker/Processor to work in our combined office in Layton, UT. In this position you will process car deals. You will also be responsible for the accounting and reconciliation of car deals to accounting system, perform sales tax reconciliation and submission, and work with Managers on month end reconciliations. Providing back-up for the receptionist/cashier, title clerk, accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed. Responsibilities	Provides a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers. Always communicates with internal and external customers in a respectful and courteous manner Reports to work on-time and as scheduled Maintains a good driving record is considered "insurable" by our auto insurance carrier Self-motivated with being able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule Knowledge of accounting and Excel Validate and post all new and used car deals into accounting Validate and post all wholesales and dealer trades into accounting Process - validate - and post Fleet Sales into accounting Submit Factory Rebates/Incentives for payment Monitor Incentive Schedule. Reconcile - research - and resolve any unpaid items Track prom notes/down payments Post Funding notices and update Liens Monitors Accessory schedule. Reconcile - research - and work with internal sources to assist customer accessories Assists with related special projects as required Prepares analysis of accounts as required Provides oversight and leadership and ensures processes are followed to ensure data reliability Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area Performs other duties as assigned Have a flexible schedule during month end closing
Qualifications	1 to 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Working knowledge of dealership documents and accounting system Will be trained on the dealership's computer system Acceptance by the dealership's Insurance Company as required Able to read - analyze - and interrupt general business periodicals - professional journals - technical procedures - or governmental regulations Ability to write reports - business correspondence - and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers - clients - customers - and the public Ability to add - subtract - multiply - and divide in all units of measure - using whole numbers - common fractions - and decimals Ability to compute rate - ratio - and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written - oral - diagram or schedule form
