Responsibilities
  • Process new hires and ensure new hire processes are followed throughout the group
  • Assist with employee on-boarding
  • Assist employees with questions
  • Audit HR files for compliance with all state and federal and internal policies
  • Assist Hiring Managers throughout the selection and hiring processes
  • Assist in facilitating background checks and MVR record checks and reference checks etc
  • Assist in ensuring that all employees and managers receive appropriate training
  • Assist in maintaining all employee-related files including individual personnel files and records of insurance coverage and pension plans - New Hires - Promotions - Transfers - Terminations and any employee-related information or documentation required by the government
  • Update HRIS records by entering adjustments on Pay - Employee Change Status - Transfers etc
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant is preferred
  • Previous experience with Ultimate Software (Ultipro) a plus
  • Proficient as an intermediate Excel user
  • Successful work history
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for team work
  • Able to pass background check and drug test
  • Clean driving record
  • Strong sense of professionalism and confidentiality
