Are you an experienced technician with a passion for working on New Holland equipment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? If so, Young Truck and Trailers is looking for you to join our team as a New Holland Equipment Technician! As a New Holland Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining New Holland agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, and implements. From routine maintenance tasks to complex repairs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our customers' equipment. The schedule for this position is a 4/10 shift, Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM with an hour lunch. A 5/8 schedule could be arranged if needed. Schedule for that would likely be from 8 AM to 5 PM with an hour lunch. This shift is more flexible and could be a 7 AM to 4 PM or even 9 AM to 6 PM with an hour lunch if needed. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose issues with hydraulic and/or electrical systems
  • Perform initial PDI inspections on equipment as it arrives from manufacturer
  • Basic maintenance on machines/equipment
  • Oil changes
  • Hydraulic services
  • Coolant flush
  • Replacing fuel filters
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required
  • Previous equipment operation/repair experience a plus but not required
Qualifications
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Keep a clean and orderly work space
  • Be punctual and self-motivated
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
