Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operations of the body shop including scheduling repairs - supervising technicians - and overseeing quality control.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to maximize productivity - minimize waste - and reduce costs.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with customers and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standard of workmanship and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Manage the body shop’s inventory of supplies - equipment - and tools ensuring that they are maintained and stored correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal - State - and Local regulations including environmental and safety regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with insurance companies - suppliers - and vendors.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Body Shop Manager with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of auto repair and collision repair procedures including paint - body - and mechanical work.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact with customers - employees - and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel - Word - and Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask - prioritize - and manage time effectively.
