Responsibilities
  • Paint vehicles in accordance with manufacturers specifications while employing tint and blending techniques
  • Follow oral and written instructions and/or prepare list of material parts needed for repair
  • Understand the job related occupational hazards and safety precautions of the auto body repair trade
  • Present ideas effectively both orally and in writing
  • Function as a contributing member to a dynamic team
  • Balance multiple projects and effectively prioritize them according to deadlines
Qualifications
  • Required - Knowledge of paint techniques including tinting and blending
  • PPG and I-Car certifications are helpful but not required
  • Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment employed in their auto body repair trade
  • Ability to read - analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or regulatory agencies or members of the business community
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a high functioning team
  • Priority will be given to candidates with previous I-CAR Certification
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug screen
