Young Powersports of Layton is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Parts Inventory Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the availability of parts and accessories for our customers and dealership operations. This position requires a commitment to excellence, strong organizational skills, and a focus on customer satisfaction. We are looking for a full- time, entry-level inventory specialist. Responsibilities
  • Maintain organization of the warehouse
  • Make locations for new stock
  • Perform inventory counts
  • Pull manufacturer returns
  • Identify and resolve/report discrepancies in stock
  • Move stock to locations most effective for replenishment or order fulfillment
  • Provide projections of goal timelines and effectively meet those goals
  • Operate a forklift/order picker as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft particularly Excel
  • Forklift certification
  • Previous experience in inventory management
  • Experience in inventory software
  • Must be able to walk or stand for up to 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lb unassisted
  • Demonstrate a stable work history with good references
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screening
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to clock in on time every day
  • Self-motivated and focused
